Liandao Music Festival: A Music Carnival Between Mountains and Seas

The Liandao Music Festival carved out a one-of-a-kind niche in China’s live music scene by hosting its event in a coastal venue nestled between lush mountains and the open sea. Unlike urban festivals or plain outdoor events, this festival invited thousands of fans to immerse themselves in live music while surrounded by ocean breezes, mountain views, and coastal scenery—creating a truly immersive “music carnival between mountains and seas.”

Our modular 6061-T6 aluminum truss system was purpose-adapted for this coastal mountain venue’s unique challenges. The lightweight, corrosion-resistant framework was ideal for navigating coastal access paths and uneven terrain, while its high load-bearing capacity (up to 490kg/m²) reliably supported large LED video walls, weather-resistant audio arrays, and dynamic lighting rigs. We also optimized the truss layout to minimize visual obstruction of the natural mountain and sea views, ensuring the stage complemented rather than competed with the stunning coastal landscape.

Over two days of performances, our truss system delivered stable, uninterrupted operation despite occasional coastal breezes and humid conditions. The quick-assembly modular design allowed our team to complete full stage setup in just 60 hours, adhering to strict local environmental protection guidelines that limited construction hours to protect the coastal ecosystem. Fans and artists alike praised the clear, immersive sound and dynamic visual effects, which enhanced the connection between performers and the breathtaking mountain-and-sea setting.
