The Yuntaishan Music Festival carved out a unique niche in China’s live music scene by hosting its event in a scenic mountain-side outdoor venue at the foot of Yuntaishan, a renowned natural scenic area. Unlike urban festivals held in concrete arenas, this event invited thousands of fans to immerse themselves in folk, rock, and pop music while surrounded by lush forests, fresh mountain air, and distant mountain peaks. It quickly became a beloved choice for audiences seeking a blend of live entertainment and nature immersion.

Our modular 6061-T6 aluminum truss system was purpose-adapted for this mountain venue’s unique challenges. The lightweight, corrosion-resistant framework was ideal for navigating narrow access paths and uneven terrain, while its high load-bearing capacity (up to 480kg/m²) reliably supported large LED video walls, directional audio arrays, and weather-resistant lighting rigs. We also optimized the truss layout to minimize visual obstruction of the natural landscape, ensuring the stage complemented rather than competed with the mountain scenery.

Over two days of performances, our truss system delivered stable, uninterrupted operation despite occasional cool mountain breezes and evening dew. The quick-assembly modular design allowed our team to complete full stage setup in just 62 hours, adhering to strict local environmental protection guidelines that limited construction hours. Fans and artists alike praised the clear, immersive sound and dynamic visual effects, which enhanced the connection between performers and the natural setting.
