2025 Tencent Video JUMP PARK Music Carnival Concluded Successfully

Project Overview

The 2025 Tencent Video JUMP PARK Music Festival stands as China’s first large-scale music festival held on an airport tarmac, hosted at Qingdao Liuting International Airport on August 16–17, 2025. As an upgraded offline extension of Tencent Video’s OpenDay event and the platform’s first proprietary music IP, it drew nearly 70,000 attendees—over 50% of whom were young people under 24—cementing its status as one of 2025’s most talked-about cultural phenomena.
Blending live music, film/TV IP immersion, and cutting-edge stage technology, JUMP PARK redefined the modern festival experience, merging high-energy performances with interactive storytelling to create a truly immersive entertainment ecosystem.

Core Stage & Experience Design

Dual-Stage & Dual-Market Format

The festival introduced an innovative dual-stage + dual-market model, setting it apart from traditional music events:
  • JUMP Main Stage: A 40-meter-tall audio tower, giant deformable LED vertical screens, holographic projections, and cyberpunk-style stage design formed the visual centerpiece. Paired with drone light shows and AI-generated music technology, it delivered a concert-level audiovisual spectacle that pushed the boundaries of live performance.
  • OPENDAY Interactive Stage: This stage brought popular Tencent Video IPs—including The Legend of Jin Yue, Her Survival Rules, and The Exciting Offer Season 7—to life, with cast and crew members making in-person appearances to connect with fans offline.

Immersive Airport-Themed Experience

The venue’s airport heritage was fully leveraged to create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere:
  • Tickets were designed as boarding passes, with attendees navigating a full “check-in – security – boarding bridge” entry process.
  • The tarmac was transformed into the main viewing area, while the runway served as the performance zone, creating a “boarding for the music festival” immersive narrative.

Curated Market Zones

Two distinct markets complemented the live performances:
  • BOUNCE IP Market: Featuring nearly 30 film, TV, and anime IP booths (including Lost You Forever and Evernight), offering interactive activities and limited-edition merchandise.
  • RELAX Food Market: Serving on-site prepared local and international cuisine, ensuring attendees could refuel without leaving the festival grounds.

Artist Lineup & Cultural Impact

Headlined by top-tier Chinese artists including Li Yuchun, Hua Chenyu, Mao Buyi, and Da Zhangwei, the festival’s lineup spanned pop, rock, and idol genres, with nearly 30 acts performing over two days. This diverse roster catered to a wide audience, driving widespread social media engagement and solidifying JUMP PARK as a cultural touchstone for young Chinese consumers.
As the first music festival IP launched by a long-form video platform in China, JUMP PARK demonstrated the power of “music + technology + IP” to reimagine live entertainment, setting a new standard for immersive, brand-driven cultural events.
